The Diverso team and their life partners were spoiled with a well-deserved mid-year function at the cosy Blue Bird Café, situated on the R44 between Somerset West and Stellenbosch. With beautiful views of vineyards and mountains, the scene was set for a relaxed, enjoyable evening.
Admin staff, drivers, technicians and management were all given the opportunity to explore their inner chef skills (or the lack thereof 😊) by building their own pizzas… Some interesting combinations did find their way to the table!
What better way to get rid of those pizza calories, but to burn them on the dance floor! We laughed, we cried, some were left in pain the following day, but the fact remains – loads of fun was enjoyed by all.
As Lori Deschene said: “Life is all about balance. You don’t always need to be getting stuff done. Sometimes it’s perfectly okay, and absolutely necessary, to shut down, kick back, and do nothing.”
